Bah. Humbug.

    Oh, that Jenna Bush wedding crap bugged the ever loving hell out of me--it is most certainly NOT news yet so much coverage was devoted to it that you would think it was news. I thank god every day that I have NPR; this weekend, I found myself listening with rapt fascination(!)to an entire 'This American Life' that was devoted to just HOW the current housing/credit crisis was created. But, what with all the fluff counted as news on CNN, there's no way CNN could cover the whole story in a typical two minute sound bite. \end rant (I think you may have touched a nerve!)

    @Amy J.: This American Life is the best program (on television, radio, or the web -- and I only mean the radio show, since I've never seen the tv show) ever in all creation.

    I feel your pain... having been stranded in many an airport with no way to shut out the CNN. Peter has in the past shut off tvs at the gym because CNN was on.
