I think I'll scan a photo of myself in Punky Brewster costume. (Yes, I have one.) My friends regularly reference Penny's Computer Book. I do not know why.

Re: Face-squinching Desire

Suzann - I hereby award you my undying pop-culture love. When I have that iPhone, we'll collectively wave atcha.

Penny - Oh, to grow up a Penny in the age of Inspector Gadget. I only had to contend with looking like Punky Brewster. What's an ASUA eee?

Re: Face-squinching Desire

with my name, an enjoyment of my very light brown hair in pigtails (though no bangs), a Comp Sci degree, *AND* collection of various "electronic notebooks" (including an ASUS eee) how could I not?! an iPhone would ROCK though I don't like the service plans state-side... i'm a little "frugal" on my cell plans. I prefer the old Newton ... it's closer to the other Penny's and I do like keyboards... I don't have an Uncle or a dog named Brain ... (do you need more than that?) ;)

Re: Face-squinching Desire

I couldn't resist your challenge: Penny is from "Inspector Gadget" (oddly, we hardly ever watched the show, and yet she must have made an impact, because I knew who you meant right away! Thanks for the memory jog.)
And although "Happily" and "R*gers" rarely appear in the same sentence, maybe this time...
All the best to you & your iPhone!
